Health Insurance

Marketplace - Obamacare

Small Group or Self Employed

Love it or hate it, the Marketplace, aka Obamacare is the only place to get individual and family insurance that covers preexisting conditions.  Many myths exist about the Marketplace, but no matter how little or much money you make, how sick you may be, anyone can get a plan during certain times of the year. Please see my quoting tools if you would like a no-obligation quote.

Small Group or Self Employed

Small Group or Self Employed

If you’re self employed, 1099, and or a sole proprietor not subsidized on the marketplace and in good health, I may have a small group plan for you and your family.

If you're a large group employer (6+ employee's), please fill out this form for a quote and I will be in touch.

Short-Term Health

Short term plans are designed to fill a gap between employment. Coverage is available up to 4 months.  If you need a long term solution, these are not good plans.

Likely reasons for Short Term:

  • You missed the Affordable Care Act Open Enrollment.
  • Waiting for benefits to start at a new employer.
  • Unemployed and need temporary coverage.
  • On COBRA looking for a temporary lower cost replacement.

Health Sharing (Not Insurance)

Health Sharing (Not Insurance)

Health Sharing from Altrua Healthshare is a Healthcare Sharing Ministry (HCSM/Not Insurance). Altrua offers a fantastic catastrophic benefit (3 other plans as well) that is affordable and comprehensive.  The plan is made up of like minded, healthy individuals that believe in a healthy lifestyle.  This plan packaged with a supplemental insurance that includes cancer, critical illness, and accident coverage, you are minimizing your exposure to any large expenses. Altrua's Ruby plan is $136 a month for an individual.  Check out this video for more details and limitations (why I include supplemental coverage). Plans and pricing are in this brochure. Member sharing amounts and plans are subject to change.
